    223 Butt Stock Review

Posted by Larry Peterson on Aug 2nd 2023

I have multiple 223 Butt Stock Saddles for my 223, 243, 6.5, 7 Mag and love them all. Truely makes eye alignment with your scope fit you perfectly.

I like them very much. I like the suade cheek rest.

    Excellent piece of kit

Well made, well designed, however it doesn’t work for me due to the pronounce cheekpiece on my Barrett Fieldcraft. If not for that five stars!

    4014 Butt Stock Saddle

You can find less expensive, you can find other materials, but I consistently return to this company and this product for the quality, the softness of the suede, the durability of the "canvas", and the zippered pockets. This is the best I have found to do what I want.

just what you are looking for

This cheek pad is the best I have found. Others lose elasticity and thus their fit. The soft leather is comforting vs. vinyl on cheaper models. The zip case holds ballistic cards in a handy location. The cartridge holder works nicely as well. I have had difficulty finding these before and settled for a look alike. Never again. Fortunately via direct order, this nicely priced jewel is available again.

    Well Made

Posted by Mike in AK on May 22nd 2017

This "saddle" is the most well made of the four brands that I have on my various long guns. It has enough material that it allows a better cheek weld on a small caliber rifle with medium height rings and a scope with a large objective that has been a problem. I was able to reduce the height of the homemade riser by 1/4"; definitely looks more finished now.
